LONGi, founded in the name of Longji Jiang, the former president of Lanzhou University! In 1986, Zhenguo Li, Baoshen Zhong and others were admitted to Lanzhou University. They held an admission ceremony in front of the statue of President Longji Jiang，whose story infected every student present, and in their prime of life in their hearts, planted the seeds of dream. "In the future, the enterprise is called LONGi!"

On Feb.14th,2000, Xi’an Xinmeng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., the predecessor of LONGi, was established.

Xi'an LONGi Silicon Technology Co., Ltd., was established.

Xi'an Lumei Single Crystal Silicon Co., Ltd. was established.

The first batch of 18 mono silicon furnaces was put into production with production capacity of `device-level` mono silicon ingot up to 30t per year.

The 1,000t Mono silicon Ingot Project (Phase I) of LONGi was completed in Ningxia.

The company name was changed to Xi’an LONGi Silicon Materials Co., Ltd.

The company's name was changed to Xi'an LONGi Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. The establishment of Xi'an Tongxin Semiconductor Accessories Co., Ltd.,

The 350MW Mono silicon Wafer Project (Phase I) of LONGi was built.

The Wuxi Project of LONGi (Phase I) was built with production capacity of mono silicon wafer up to 600MW.

LONGi Research and Development Center was founded.

LONGi was officially listed on the main board of Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: SH601012). Production expansion was completed in LONGi with production capacity of wafer up to 1GW. The Ningxia Project of LONGi (Phase II) was built with production capacity of mono silicon ingot up to 8,000t.

The annual wafer shipment of LONGi exceeded 1GW.

Xi’an LONGi Clean Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of LONGi, was officially established, marking LONGi’s formal entry into the building and EPC business of solar power stations. LONGi merged Zhejiang LERRI Solar Technology Co., Ltd. and extended its business to the solar cell module sector. Xi’an LONGi Clean Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of LONGi, was officially established, marking LONGi’s formal entry into the building and EPC business of solar power stations.

Xi’an LONGi New Energy Co., Ltd. (formerly LERRI Solar Energy Co., Ltd.) was registered, and the company began to develop the distributed solar business.

LONGi (Kuching) SDN. BHD., the first overseas production base, was formally founded. The LONGi Employer Brand was officially released. LONGi New Energy Division of the Thai subsidiary was established.

Li Zhenguo, President of LONGi, proposed the “Solar for Solar” concept of PV power generation for PV products at the 24th UN Climate Change Conference, which attracted global attention.

The front power of the LONGi 72-type half-chip assembly exceeded 450W, setting a new world record.

LONGi was designated as the `solar solution supplier for the China Pavilion at EXPO 2020 Dubai UAE. The first mountable BIPV product — ‘LONGi Roof’ went into production. LONGi joined in the Climate Group’s RE100, EV100 and EP100 Initiatives and the Science Based Targets initiative, or SBTi.

Xi'an LONGi Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd was established.
